Steam through the Central West

Experience the excitement of steam in the country - the glorious central west in Spring!

Our route takes us along scenic rural rail lines, has plenty of challenging grades for our loco, and provides opportunities for regional communities to share the steam experience – interacting with the colourful locals is part of the fun!

Classic Carriages – First Class all the way

Relax aboard in ornate timber panelled, First Class carriages, the pride of the NSW heritage fleet – with a limited number of passengers, there will be plenty of room to stretch out with a book or a snack, a window for everyone, and an observation car from which to watch the world go by.

Most meals are included

Whether it’s a tempting fresh baked morning tea or a hearty lunch - you can be sure we’ll be sourcing the best local dining locations – breakfast each day at your motel; morning and afternoon tea on board and great country cooking at lunch stops.

Comfortable sightseeing, transfers and quality accommodation

It’s simple – come aboard in Sydney, then let us do the rest!

We’ll be staying in the best available city centre motels in Orange for three nights. The renowned restaurants and cafes of Orange are nearby and we've selected motels which have an on site restaurant.

You’ll be transported by coach between the train and your accommodation each night and morning and coach sightseeing is included where shown in the itinerary.
